Our Origins:

SwankyApple was created by Andrew McSweeney and Dan McIvor in January 2010 with the aim of building a client focused, jargon-free creative agency. Dan brings ten years of creative digital experience gained through content production, search marketing, time as a freelance designer/developer and then as UK manager for an off-shore development studio. Andrew is an expert in lean operations, the subject of his PhD, and brings several years department and company management experience. Fun fact – Andrew thought of the name SwankyApple years earlier and remembered it when it came time to name the business. SwankyApple’s creative director, Matt Giles, comes from a deeply creative background previously working as a print designer, musician and web freelancer.
